About the role
- You'll assist with core accounting functions - from Accounts Payable/Receivable to month-end close - and help ensure our books remain accurate as we scale.
- This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean books, thrives on routine, and wants to grow within a finance team at a tech company.
- This is a 100% remote role with preference for candidates based in either Portland, Boston, or Austin.
Responsibilities
- Support with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity
- Support during external audits
- Maintain organized records and supporting documentation
- Flag process gaps and support the Controller in implementing workflow improvements
- Built on over two decades of cybersecurity experience, our team of experts understands the intricacies of vulnerabilities, their exploitation in the wild, and how to leverage this data to build more effective cybersecurity products that produce better outcomes for organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of accounting experience, with meaningful exposure to SaaS or tech industry
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows
- Proficiency in Quickbooks
- Proficiency in Ramp or other bill pay systems
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc)
- Must have the ability to manage high transaction volume accurately
