Responsibilities

  • Perform grant and fund accounting functions including restricted funds tracking, revenue recognition and expense allocation among entities and programmatic cost centers.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations (bank, restricted net assets, restricted cash accounts, receivables, payables, deferred revenue, etc.)
  • Maintain financial reports and internal schedules for grants, programs, and restricted funds.
  • Support Accounting and Finance management staff in strengthening internal controls, improving processes and implementing new workflows and software systems.
  • Perform other assigned accounts receivable and general accounting tasks across CCOF's multiple entities.
  • Perform monthly revenue recognition entries for multiple grants and programs

Requirements

  • This role requires strong accounting fundamentals, nonprofit grant and fund accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to work within accounting systems and structured workflows.

Compensation

  • This is a full-time, salary-exempt position reporting to the Finance Director and may receive day-to-day direction from the Accounting Manager and other finance leadership.

Other responsibilities include administration of staff credit cards, c orresponding with members via email and phone in both English and Spanish to answer questions and follow up on past due accounts, and other accounting tasks as directed by finance management.
