About the role

  • Evaluate new technologies and vendor features (Cisco, Arista, Aruba) and provide recommendations to engineering leadership

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data center switching/routing architectures (Cisco and Arista) including spine-leaf fabrics, MLAG/VXLAN, and inter-DC interconnects
  • Own physical capacity planning for owned and co-located data centers: rack/power/cooling capacity forecasting, cabinet and cross-connect layout standards, and structured cabling design
  • Own the Aruba SD-WAN architecture across the branch portfolio: policy design, QoS, path conditioning, and Orchestrator administration
  • Develop network standards, reference architectures, and lifecycle/capacity plans for switching, routing, and SD-WAN platforms

Requirements

  • Associates degree is required
  • Seven (7) years of network experience is required
  • may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • May be required to work additional hours and/or outside normal business hours as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Regular movement between multiple building sites will be required.

Nice to have

  • Arista Level (L3) required
  • Arista Level (L5) preferred
  • Cisco CCNP required
  • Cisco CCIE preferred or
  • Cisco CCDE preferred

Compensation

  • $94,100.00 - $164,800.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
  • In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
