About the role

  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented code while participating in agile development across front-end, back-end, QA, and product management.
  • Analyze and improve site performance, speed, stability, and scalability.
  • Take an active role in promoting best practices and training others within the team.

Responsibilities

  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Collaborate with business, technology, and UX teams to design, build, and optimize websites, mobile apps, and digital platforms.
  • Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing user experiences, ensuring compliance with ADA, Title III, and industry standards.
  • Support and enhance e-commerce operations, including BOPIS, local delivery, and ship-from-store capabilities.
  • Proven track record developing and maintaining e-commerce websites and applications using platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Hybris, BigCommerce, or Shopify.

Requirements

  • Ability to move about an office environment.
  • QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or 5+ years of relevant experience in retail/e-commerce development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Node.js, React.js, and React Native; with experience in object-oriented programming and responsive web design.
  • Experience with web services and integrations (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), payment gateways, tax software, site search & site engine optimization (SEO), and merchandising operations.
