- Position Overview Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Machine Operator will be responsible for performing the set-up, operation, and cleaning of raw material processing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor machine operations and implement corrective action as needed
- Troubleshoot machine and product related issues; communicate these issues to supervisor/lead
- Perform machine changeovers and sanitations while also maintaining a clean work area
- Perform job duties in a manner that meets company Quality and Safety standards
Requirements
- 0-1 years of experience
- Knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude
- Maintain and record all required documentation (instrument readings, gauge checks, etc.)
- Verify critical equipment per the calibration program as required
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience in a food processing environment preferred

Compensation
- Starting pay: $23.08 + $2.00 Shift Premium
- Operate all Main Processing and extraction equipment as outlined in the Master Manufacturing Record (MMR) following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- Monitor quality of product by performing all relevant quality control checks
- Maintain and record all required documentation (instrument readings, gauge checks, etc.)
- Monitor machine operations and implement corrective action as needed
- Troubleshoot machine and product related issues; communicate these issues to supervisor/lead
