About the role

Conveniently located in the North Bay, this hospital consists of 144 acute psychiatric inpatient beds.
Conveniently located in the North Bay, SRBHH serves adolescents and adults.
We treat both mental health and co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse conditions.

Maintains effective working and professional relationships and communications with internal and external partners.
Performs related duties, as requested.
Skills and Abilities: Maintains confidentiality of patients at all times.
Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively as well as possessing the skills to lead, influence, and motivate others.
Responsible to provide quality Psycho-therapeutic Services for a unit-based caseload of adults and/or adolescents as well as support to other departmental needs.
Associate Inpatient Therapist serves as a member of an interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program, philosophy and assure the deliverance of quality treatment to patients and their support systems.
They are the lead facilitator of the patient's treatment plan and continuously monitor the implementation of active treatment with assigned patients.

Knowledge and Experience: Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or closely related field.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required, or obtained within initial orientation period.
While performing the duties of this job, this position is frequently required to do the following: Use standard office equipment and access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.

$49.00-$55.55 Per Hour REPORTS TO: Director of Social Services HOURS: 4 10-hour shifts 1 weekend day required 3 weekdays Exact days will be based on current need DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Associate Inpatient Therapist practices sound clinical judgement, professionalism and good clinical practice.

The Associate Inpatient Therapist maintains knowledge of, participates in further training provided, and understands the potential risks regarding occupational health hazards (e.g. bloodborne pathogen exposures).
One year of behavioral health experience and experience working with Severely Mentally Ill and Group Facilitation preferred.
