About the role

  • By "Pursuing Justice with Integrity," the BXDA places a focus on assistance for crime victims while simultaneously ensuring fairness to defendants.
  • Moreover, the BXDA aims to balance the need to seek appropriate punishment for certain crimes while recognizing when punitive measures do not adequately advance justice.

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and professional standards.

  • In furtherance of this mission, the BXDA seeks an experienced and enthusiastic Wellness Associate.
  • Provide confidential, individualized wellness sessions to employees experiencing personal, emotional, and work-related concerns.
  • Coordinate referrals and facilitate connections to internal and external behavioral health resources, including the NYC Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and community providers, as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Employee Wellness to coordinate appropriate responses to employee wellness concerns while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to supervisors and office leadership regarding employee wellness concerns, crisis response, and supportive workplace practices.
  • Support the development and implementation of protocols related to employee wellness, crisis response, and behavioral health referrals.
  • Support the Director of Employee Wellness in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of employee wellness initiatives and organizational well-being strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Wellness Coordinator to support the coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of Employee Wellness Unit programming and initiatives.
