About the role

Crawford Mechanical Services, a Quantum Industrial company, is a leading mechanical and plumbing contractor, with operations across multiple states, specializing in large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
The Plumbing Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the execution, supervision, and completion of industrial plumbing and process piping construction scopes, including pipe fabrication, installation, and system testing.
Quality Control: Monitor pipe installation and joining methods (welding, brazing, threading, soldering) to enforce adherence to plumbing codes and company quality standards.

Manage plumbers, pipefitters, and helpers, ensuring the right personnel are assigned to appropriate tasks.
Develop and maintain plumbing and piping construction schedules, coordinating tie-ins, pressure testing, and system turnovers to ensure timely completion.
Coordinate and supervise plumbing and piping subcontractors to maintain project efficiency.
Coordinate hydrostatic/pressure testing, flushing, and disinfection of piping systems, and support commissioning of process and utility piping systems critical to data center operations.
Maintain regular communication with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and site personnel.
Maintain accurate records of daily construction activities, safety incidents, test results, and work progress.
Assess workforce efficiency and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

o High school diploma or equivalent required. o Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. o OSHA 30 certification required. o Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred
backflow prevention assembly tester certification a plus. o Must possess any licenses or certifications required by state or local regulations.

Physical Requirements &
