About the role

  • We are seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to support fabrication and assembly of piping systems within our shop environment.
  • This role is responsible for layout, fit-up, installation, and preparation of pipe systems to ensure proper welding and assembly in accordance with drawings, specifications, and production requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform layout, cutting, threading, bending, and fit-up of piping systems
  • Install pipe supports, hangers, and brackets
  • Plan work to avoid obstructions and maintain workflow
  • Work closely with welders to support production
  • Assist other departments to support production flow
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of pipe fitting experience
  • Ability to fit carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping
  • Strong understanding of pipe systems, layout, and installation practices
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Experience using pipe fabrication tools and equipment
  • Experience of Welding procedures and processes GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Ability to lift, carry, and work in physically demanding conditions

Nice to have

  • Experience in fabrication shop
  • Forklift or material handling experience
  • Work closely with welders, QC, and supervisors
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and production
  • Consistent shop-based work (no travel)
  • Stable workload supporting ongoing fabrication projects
  • Strong emphasis on quality, organization, and teamwork
