About the role
- Parental leave is available after one year.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the Head of Infrastructure on long‑term platform direction, investment priorities, and modernization initiatives
- Coach and develop team members to increase technical depth, ownership, and operational maturity
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Lead staffing, workload prioritization, and skill development for infrastructure teams
- Own day‑to‑day infrastructure reliability, availability, and performance
- Lead operational response for infrastructure incidents and escalations
- Manage infrastructure vendor and managed service provider relationships
- Chair and own the Infrastructure Architecture Review Board (ARB)
- Validate design intent
- Drive lifecycle management, modernization, and technical debt reduction
Requirements
- Performs other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline, or with equivalent work experience.
Nice to have
- 10+ years of IT‑related experience in enterprise infrastructure environments
- 5+ years of demonstrated people‑leadership experience, including leading technical teams and managing performance, priorities, and development
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, engineering, or operations roles
- Experience working in customer service or technical service organizations preferred
Skills
- Strong operational and execution leadership
- Deep technical knowledge across:
- Networking
- Server and cloud infrastructureM365 / collaboration platforms
- Endpoint and device management
- Working knowledge of ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change)
- Ability to lead cross‑domain architecture discussions
- Vendor and MSP oversight experience
- Experience operating architecture review processes
- Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks
- Experience in regulated or manufacturing environments
- Travel 10% to 15%
