Responsibilities
- Ensure the proper execution of accounting activities and maintain strong internal controls related to Air Transat's airline costs and balance sheet
- Lead the budgeting process, financial planning, and in-depth analysis of areas under their responsibility (maintenance, capital expenditures, IFRS 16)
- Ensure the ongoing application of IFRS standards for complex transactions, particularly related to maintenance, and lead the implementation of new accounting standards
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with leaders and act as a trusted strategic advisor
- Lead special finance-related projects and actively contribute to strategic decision-making
Requirements
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in personnel management within a financial environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools
- A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
