Responsibilities

  • Develop and fundamental understanding of layout plans, process and procedures and construction environments.
  • Provide ancillary support to preconstruction effort such as document control, correspondence internal/external, material research etc.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and build a foundational understanding systems takeoff with oversight from management personnel.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction, operational and opportunity stakeholders.

  • Estimator provides support for single large projects or multiple smaller projects.
  • Primary duties include participation in bid efforts and providing administrative support to the estimating department.
  • The Estimator is expected to be competent in basic estimating tasks and is developing an understanding of more advanced estimating principles including conceptual estimating, project logistics, and indirect costs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in construction estimating, with a proven track record of successful project estimates.
  • Experience in industrial projects is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, Excel, Word, Sage Estimating).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
