About the role

- Acts as liaison for patient movement and bed assignments, promoting cost-effective management of staffing, equipment, and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Rounds and assesses patient care units to evaluate patient conditions, identify staffing needs, and provide support to caregivers.
- Advises and directs nursing personnel, responds to Code Blue situations, and manages clinical emergencies.
- Provides direction and collaborates with hospital leadership during significant events, including organizational codes and system downtimes.
- Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the hospital and exhibits a desire to learn, teach, coach, and advance nursing and leadership skills.
- Collaborates and communicates with all departments regarding operational issues.
Requirements
- $33.99 - $63.22 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.

- 2+ years leadership experience as an assistant nurse manager and/or nurse manager or equivalent (i.e. charge nurse, chair nursing practice council, cn3, cn4) [Preferred] 2+ years staff nurse experience [Required]
