Responsibilities
- Develop and implement standardized warehouse training programs across all shifts and facilities.
- Establish onboarding and certification programs for warehouse associates, material handlers, inventory specialists, leads, and supervisors.
- Create training matrices and qualification requirements for all warehouse functions.
- Develop standard work instructions and training documentation for warehouse activities.
- Support implementation of warehouse best practices and standardized workflows.
- Develop hands-on training exercises for safe handling of aerospace hardware and sensitive materials.
- Maintain operator qualification records and certification databases.
- Support audit readiness and corrective action training initiatives.
- Maintain accurate training records and certification documentation.
- Develop dashboards and reports for training completion, qualification status, and compliance metrics.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain management, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
- Ability to travel periodically between operational sites as required.
- Ensure employees complete required training prior to operating equipment or performing critical tasks.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling processes.
- Ability to work in warehouse, manufacturing, and industrial operational environments.
- Ability to regularly walk warehouse floors and oversee receiving dock operations.
- Ability to work in fast-paced production and industrial environments with varying operational demands.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant operational leadership experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing warehouses, receiving, or distribution teams.
Nice to have
- Experience working within aerospace, satellite manufacturing, automotive, advanced manufacturing, or high-volume industrial production environments.
- Experience supporting lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with ESD/FOD controls and aerospace quality systems.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and operational planning skills.
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
