Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical consulting in fire protection engineering, including code consulting, fire/smoke modeling, performance-based design, and forensic investigations.
- Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations.
- Build and strengthen client relationships, lead proposal efforts, and contribute to the overall business development strategy.
- Support the long-term growth of SGH's Fire Protection practice, including identifying market opportunities and guiding service offerings.
- Collaborate with other SGH practice areas to deliver integrated and innovative solutions.
- Represent SGH in client meetings and with building and fire officials.

Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Fire Protection Engineering (required).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in fire protection engineering, including project and client leadership.
- PE licensure in Fire Protection Engineering (required).
- Experience with fire protection modeling tools such as FDS, Pathfinder, or CONTAM.
- Proven success in managing clients, teams, and deliverables on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
Compensation
- The below range is a good faith estimate pursuant to applicable equal pay and pay transparency laws.
- The actual salary offered will be based on several factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications and work location.
- Base salary is a part of SGH's industry leading Total Compensation package.
- Our Total Compensation package includes base salary, pay for extra hours worked, an annual discretionary bonus program, generous paid time off, and health and wellness benefits with a special emphasis on substantial SGH contributions to medical insurance premiums and SGH's Profit Sharing & 401(k) Plan.
- $141,440 - $176,800 USD
