Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Oversees and directs a team of engineering professionals to achieve short term operational objectives and maintain high performance standards.
  • Performance Management: Conducts performance appraisals, manages hiring and termination processes, and implements training and development programs to enhance team skills.
  • Operational Planning: Develops and adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges, ensuring the achievement of financial and operational goals.
  • Cross Department Collaboration: Partners with other departments to integrate engineering initiatives with overall business objectives, ensuring seamless operational synergy.
  • Oversees and directs a team of engineering professionals to achieve short term operational objectives and maintain high performance standards.
  • Expertise in hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee development to build a high performing team.
  • Understands how engineering functions integrate with overall business operations to drive success.
  • Provides advanced technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.

  • Other Qualifications:
  • 4year Bachelors BS AND 10+ years equivalent experience in Management and Engineering.

Compensation

  • $113,000 (minimum) - $147,000 (midpoint) - $181,000 (maximum)
  • All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity.
  • Annual Woodward stock contribution (5%)
