About the role

- Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities: This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted.
- Work to be performed at government customer site.
Responsibilities
- This team creates, maintains, and troubleshoots Linux instances on multiple networks, in multiple architectures.
Requirements
- Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Ability to work in a team and mentor junior staff.
Nice to have
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on Linux administration and scripting automation experience with knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies is a plus.
Skills
- Strong Linux administration experience including configuring, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, etc.
- Experience working with diverse teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Experience creating, debugging, and implementing Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible automation scripts.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies.
- Experience with AWS, specifically EC2 Auto Scaling.
- Experience with aws-cli and boto3.
- Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)
Compensation
- Our Linux Administrator (SA II) (Government) earns between $98,100 - $174,800 yearly.
- Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
