Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience in Industrial Electrical / Electronic Field Service or a related field.
  • Basic Knowledge of electronic components and their function.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and how they function.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 85 lbs.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, some nights and weekends.

Nice to have

  • AC/DC Power Conversion and Control experience.
  • Associate's degree in a technical field.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical principles, electronics and AC/DC power distribution.
  • Communication system knowledge.
  • 3+ Years minimum Technical Service or Field Engineering background.
  • Power and electronic service background required.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic circuits.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and electronic schematics and mechanical drawings.

  • Job Position - Inverter Repair Technician
  • Troubleshoot, test, and repair inverter equipment in accordance with Konecranes standards
  • Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer.
  • Carry out on site root cause analysis on equipment failures.
  • Read, understand and apply the contents of all OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI and other codes or regulations pertaining to our industry.
  • Refresh and update knowledge periodically.
  • Prepare proposals and pricing for customer repairs
  • Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Notify supervisor of any deficiencies for resolution.

Compensation

  • 2 weeks of vacation per year (pro-rated for the first year depending on start date).
  • 5 days of Sick Leave per year.
  • 10 paid holidays per year
  • Holidays: 10 paid holidays per year
