Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibilities of metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) epitaxy and thin film deposition process ownership on dedicated reactor towards 24×7 manufacturing and developing new-generation optoelectronic devices for optical communications and consumer applications.
  • Develop, optimize, and sustain advanced characterization and measurement processes, as well as metrology tool governance and calibration.
  • Interface closely with the manufacturing production as well as various product engineers, equipment engineers, process engineers, chip design engineers, to maintain and improve the legacy wafer fab products and to develop new products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor, Master or Ph.D. degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Material Science or related field is required.
  • Working knowledge of SPC, and reporting SPC/yield for relevant processes is desired.
  • Able to work supporting of 24×7 fab manufacturing, including working additional off-hours on-call support as required.
  • A highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently and a strong team player with good communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CVD/thin film processes is preferred.
  • Experience with manufacturing execution software that controls process sequence, collects and evaluates process measurements to assure product quality is preferred.

Compensation

  • P40-USA-1:$85,000.00 - $121,400.00
  • Final base salary for the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job location, where work will be performed, qualifications, work history and relevant experience.
