About the role

  • Reporting to the Accounting Transactions Team Supervisor, this position works as part of the Internal Group Accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and deadline submission of month-end, quarter-end and year-end results are met.

Responsibilities

  • Performs recurring monthly tasks and journal entries to assist the Internal Group Accounting team in financial close.
  • Collaborates with Account Transactions Team Supervisor and Internal Group Accounting Manager to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Supports the Internal Group Accounting leadership in the development and implementation of standardized accounting policies and processes.
  • Supports and interacts with various functional groups within Finance and Operations.

Requirements

  • Maintains general ledger accounts with a high degree of accuracy.
  • 1-2 year's experience in a finance/accounting function.
