About the role

The Staff Attorney - Employment will contribute to and help advance Life.Church's legal operations, research, and risk mitigation efforts.

Partner with the Staff Operations Team to review, draft, and update employment policies, handbooks, and agreements to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Strong leadership skills and understanding of developing and guiding others.

Ability to self‐motivate, make independent decisions, and problem-solve with innovation.
Effective at multi‐tasking and time management to meet deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills to foster partnerships.
Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment and labor law.
Juris Doctor with a license in good standing to practice law.
3-5 years of relevant work experience, with a focus on employment law preferred.
