Responsibilities
- The Insurance Placement Assistant supports the team with servicing new and existing account and supports the marketing team to drive new business and client retention.
- Maintain and update carrier marketing logs, including carrier contacts, underwriting information, and market changes.
- Organize and maintain carrier and marketing files to ensure accurate and accessible records.
- Support the preparation of new business proposals, presentations, and prospect materials.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client correspondence, service requests, policy activity, and communication records.
Requirements
- Recruiting Vendors must have a valid written agreement and received prior written authorization from an authorized Brown & Brown representative before submitting candidates for any publicly posted role.
Nice to have
- FL 4-40 License within 30 days of Hire
- FL 2 -20 License (preferred)
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Bachelor's degree in risk management, business management, or similar degree program (preferred)
