About the role
- You will be working closely with the dedicated sourcing and inventory team to meet the sometimes challenging and pressing needs of the production department.
- You will report to the Sourcing and Inventory Manager.
- You will be a key team member responsible for picking, packing and shipping customer orders as well as counting, verifying, receiving and putting away incoming vendor material and in-house manufactured components.
Requirements
- Driving and shuttling of trucks may also be required.
- Minimum of two years' experience in Shipping and Receiving using an ERP system (Global Shop Solutions experience an asset).
- Minimum of two years' experience in inventory control, including cycle counting.
- Must be willing to be trained/certified to operate a forklift.
- While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to stand, climb ladders, wear PPE, talk, hear, observe small writing and labels, lift up to 50 lbs.
