Manage, develop and train the export staff in areas of shipping and export administration regulations and procedures to provide excellent customer service.
Identify areas of concern in the clients' export processes through monitoring of team performance against company and client standards, regular audit of shipment documents and accounting, and periodic client reviews.
Audit documents/processes including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping statements to ensure compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of exported commodities.

Experience working for Freight Forwarding Companies

BA/BS Required or Equivalent Work Experience

To establish work standard and monitor staff performance in the areas of handling phone calls, shipping arrangements, communication, data entry and transmission, documentation, operations KPI, and problem resolution
To maximize shipping revenues and minimize shipping expenses to achieve optimum profitability.
To provide reports and analysis for management's information.
To take up additional assignments as required to meet with the Company needs.
University Graduate with minimum 5-10 years' experience in Ocean Transportation services with solid market sense.
Strong shipping and consolidation skills in USA market preferred.
Good relationship with steamship line.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

To assist the Manager - Ocean to direct and control an EIO export team as well as provide quality services to customers of EIO Export accounts in order to maximize the business growth and profits objectives of the Division.
