About the role
- A Los Angeles-based plaintiff-side employment law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Settlement Attorney to join its growing team.
- This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys negotiating resolutions, managing case pipelines, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead settlement negotiations with opposing counsel, insurers, and other parties
- Evaluate cases for settlement value and develop negotiation strategies
- Draft, review, and revise settlement agreements and related documents
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution
- Maintain organized case tracking and ensure timely follow-up on all settlement-related matters
Requirements
- Experience with contract drafting and negotiation required
- Active license to practice law in California
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting
- Fully remote work environment

Nice to have
- Prior settlement negotiation experience strongly preferred
- Employment law experience is a plus, but not required
