About the role
- In business since 1947, Canadian Helicopters is Canada's largest helicopter operator with over 20 locations across the country and a fleet of over 100 single and multi-engine aircrafts.
- Remuneration: Competitive salary according to experience.
- Not a touring position as you will be based out of Halifax, NS.
Responsibilities
- Perform IFR Flights in challenging and rapidly changing environment;
Requirements
- Must be willing to relocate to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
- Ability to successfully complete the Controlled Goods Security assessment application for NVG purposes;
- Immunization records with required vaccinations are mandatory.
Nice to have
- A valid and unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL(H) License;
- A minimum of 2000 hours rotary wing flight time;
- A minimum of 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) which 200 hours of Multi-Engine Aircraft;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Instrument Flight Operations with actual IFR flight hours as PIC;
- Previous experience flying in a 703 Air Ambulance operation as a Captain is preferred;
- NVG experience an asset;
- Endorsement on S76 considered an asset;
