About the role

  • In business since 1947, Canadian Helicopters is Canada's largest helicopter operator with over 20 locations across the country and a fleet of over 100 single and multi-engine aircrafts.
  • Remuneration: Competitive salary according to experience.
  • Not a touring position as you will be based out of Halifax, NS.

Responsibilities

  • Perform IFR Flights in challenging and rapidly changing environment;

Requirements

  • Must be willing to relocate to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
  • Ability to successfully complete the Controlled Goods Security assessment application for NVG purposes;
  • Immunization records with required vaccinations are mandatory.

Nice to have

  • A valid and unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL(H) License;
  • A minimum of 2000 hours rotary wing flight time;
  • A minimum of 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) which 200 hours of Multi-Engine Aircraft;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Instrument Flight Operations with actual IFR flight hours as PIC;
  • Previous experience flying in a 703 Air Ambulance operation as a Captain is preferred;
  • NVG experience an asset;
  • Endorsement on S76 considered an asset;
