About the role
- About the job: Project Finance US - Canada 1.
- Level of Complexity and Risk Involved: Despite its junior position there will be some moderately complex responsibilities in line with the project finance nature of their underlying responsibilities.
- With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $100,000 to $110,000.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of Information Memos and Lender Presentations for lead role opportunities and coordination of bank meetings
Requirements
- Although they are not supposed to have detailed knowledge of the product or actual experience, they are supposed to quickly develop a strong understanding of underwriting and risk analysis
- 1+ years of experience working in corporate and/or investment banking related to Project Finance and/or experience in construction energy firms related to project finance is required
Skills
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field
- Formal credit training a strong plus
- Fluent in English a must, preference for Spanish fluency
- Communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and under tight deadlines
- Understanding of financial statement analysis, financial modeling and DCF analysis
- Proficient in ALL Microsoft Office Tools
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint necessary, Bloomberg a plus
- Maintenance of internal reports and their distribution to the appropriate areas.
- Understanding and development of financial modeling, financial statement analysis, derivative instruments
- Client meeting participation when practical
- Preparation and monitoring of the loan closing process
