About the role
- (Sr.) Revenue Accounting Manager Sigma Computing is seeking a Senior Revenue Manager to join our Revenue team and play a key role in managing revenue accounting and revenue operations in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, FP&A, and Finance to assess the accounting implications of new products, pricing structures, and complex deals.
- Develop, maintain, and improve revenue accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Own accurate and timely billing operations, including review and validation of sales tax applied to customer invoices.
- Own sales tax compliance processes, including periodic reviews of nexus, taxability, and potential exposure across applicable jurisdictions.
- Support internal and external audits, including preparation of revenue-related schedules and documentation.
- Partner with Finance Systems and other stakeholders on revenue system enhancements and process improvements.
- Support the implementation and optimization of revenue-related functionality within NetSuite and other systems.
- Mentor and support other members of the Revenue team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 6-10+ years of accounting experience, including significant revenue accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.
- Experience managing complex customer contracts and revenue arrangements.
- Strong understanding of month-end and quarter-end close processes, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in a SaaS / subscription-based technology company.
- Strong understanding of SaaS revenue models, including subscription, usage-based, and professional services arrangements.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, particularly SuiteBilling and revenue-related functionality.
- Experience implementing, optimizing, or scaling revenue recognition processes and systems.
- CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Experience working in a high-growth technology environment.
