About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and filing of SEC documents, including 10-Q/10-K, earnings presentations, and proxy statements, utilizing the Workiva reporting tool.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and oversee the delivery of essential reporting materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare financial statement disclosures and conduct thorough reviews of SEC documents to maintain high standards of quality and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Drive process improvements through technology and automation, enhancing efficiency and streamlining reporting functions.
  • Maintain a robust internal control environment and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a proactive and adaptable approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or financial reporting, with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Experience with Workiva and proficiency in financial services industry practices.
  • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting processes in a global context.
  • Knowledge of emerging disclosure requirements and non-routine transaction reporting.

Compensation

  • Coordinate annual audits and quarterly reviews with external audit firms, ensuring timely and effective communication.
