About the role
- The Engineering Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of building systems and equipment. This role supports the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of facilities by ensuring mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems are functioning properly.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building automation systems.
- Maintain boilers, chillers, air handling units, pumps, motors, and related equipment.
- Perform basic electrical repairs including lighting, outlets, switches, and circuit troubleshooting.
- Monitor and maintain building systems to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
- Support facility improvement projects and equipment installations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and CMMS systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- 3+ years of facility maintenance, building engineering, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- EPA Universal Certification
- HVAC Certification
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Boiler Operator Certification
Nice to have
- Technical school certification preferred.
- Preferred Certifications
Skills
- $25.00/hour.
