Responsibilities
- Perform clerical duties on a nursing unit including answering the telephone and relaying messages.
- Employees may be directed to perform tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
Requirements
- High School Diploma with the completion of approved course of study for Nursing Assistant training or successful completion of fundamentals semester of Nursing school Required
- Certified Nursing Assistant - National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Required
- Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
- Recertification every two years is Required
- American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
Nice to have
- One year Clerical experience or Nursing Assistant experience Preferred
Skills
- Works with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers.
- Basic computer and typing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
- Basic math skills
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Required
- Basic Life Support Certified
