About the role

  • BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Coordinates the activities of the multi-disciplinary patient care team related to the provision of patient care.
  • Reports benefit activities, communicates benefit stories, calculates event detail and enters information into Lyon Software (CBISA) program.
  • Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure for lifting or moving of up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains appropriate level of productivity/work output while flexing to focus on immediate priorities.
  • Must demonstrate effective organizational and prioritization skills as well as the ability to maintain productivity with interruptions.

Requirements

  • 6 months experience or training required
  • Medium lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 20-50 lbs occasionally, 10-20 pounds frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
  • Frequent bending, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching, and standing are required.
  • Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with administrative, clerical and technical skills/knowledge.
  • License/Certification Required: NAHUC Certification encouraged.
  • Minimum Work Experience: 6 months experience or training required
  • Must be able to interpret and document information accurately.

Skills

  • Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to effectively deal with a variety of individuals and hospital systems.
  • Medical terminology preferred, computer skills required.

Compensation

  • $20k-$50k
