Responsibilities

  • Assist and support in the design, analysis, and testing of secure radio communication systems and components, such as antennas, transceivers, and digital signal processing units.
  • Support the development and implementation of system architectures and specifications based on project requirements.
  • Conduct laboratory and field testing of RF equipment, analyzing data and generating detailed reports to document findings.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, requirements including design documents, test procedures, and user manuals.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including senior engineers, project managers, and technicians.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in the design, development, and implementation of military radio communication systems.
  • You will work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to challenging projects, building a strong foundation for a career in this dynamic field.

Requirements

  • Ability to work primarily in an office setting but may require occasional field visits which could involve working outdoors or in various environments.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering (e.g., Telecommunications Engineering).
  • 2-4 years of experience in systems engineering field
  • Basic knowledge of wireless communication principles and technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi).
  • Familiarity with RF testing equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators) and simulation software (e.g., MATLAB).
  • Desirable skills required:
  • Solid understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electromagnetic theory, and signal processing.
  • Solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles and practices.
  • DOD Security Clearance
  • Physical requirements:

Skills

  • Experience with requirements management tools like DOORS or Jama.
  • Experience with CAD software for schematics and layouts.
  • Experience with Model-Based-Systems-Engineering (MBSE) tools.
  • Prior internship or project experience related to RF or wireless communication systems on military UAVs.
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C/C++) for automation or data analysis.

Compensation

  • $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 + benefits. ‎
  • The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
