Responsibilities

  • AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to support our Oil & Gas business line and can be based in Midland, Texas.
  • This role will lead the successful delivery of complex environmental projects for clients in the upstream oil & gas, midstream, refining, industrial, and related energy sectors.

Nice to have

  • 10+ years of environmental consulting experience supporting upstream oil & gas, midstream, refining, industrial, or energy-sector clients.
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-disciplinary environmental projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and quality performance.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with experience growing key accounts and securing repeat business.
  • Experience leading project teams, mentoring project managers, and managing project risk, contracts, and financial performance.
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance, site assessment and remediation, permitting, groundwater investigations, and regulatory programs applicable to Texas and the Permian Basin.
  • Professional certification or registration preferred, such as PG, PE, CHMM, PMP, or a related credential.
  • Existing relationships with Texas oil & gas, energy, or industrial clients are highly desirable.
