Responsibilities
- Applies and develops research techniques and expertise to perform assigned tasks and participates with teams in the evaluation of maintenance and technical data, gathering of field maintenance issues, identifying trends, determining system reliability and availability of components, and recommending changes to the technical data and scheduled maintenance program.
- Will lead reliability investigations and provide technical recommendations on systems, structural, and avionics.
- Performs assigned duties and responsibilities with guidance from the chief engineer or technical lead.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- A high school diploma or Associate's degree and 15 years of directly related experience in aircraft systems such as: electrical and
- Or a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 9 years of directly related experience
- Or a Master's degree in a technical discipline and 8 years of directly related experience
- Experience with the C-130 aircraft
- Experience in data evaluation, interpretation and analysis for the creation of recommended actions
- Technical and specialized knowledge in Reliability Centered Maintenance, Condition Based Maintenance, and/or Maintenance Steering Group 3 (MSG-3).
