About the role

  • The Quality Team is a matrix organization within the Company that is dedicated to creating food products that are leading the gold standard in plant-based proteins.
  • The Senior Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for managing the planning, inventory accuracy, and procurement processes for Beyond's East Coast manufacturing facility in Devault, PA.

Responsibilities

  • TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and maintain processes that ensure production readiness.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Partners and buyers for procure ment of all needed materials, WIP and ingredients.
  • Partner with site and corporate management team to develop and execute the global Beyond supply chain strategy.
  • Implement business processes to improve key supply chain KPIs (plan adherence, inventory accuracy, SLOB reduction, turns, etc.).
  • Work with site leadership team to develop ERP system strategy including implementation of WMS/MES, NetSuite and Demandcaster.
  • Establish and develop Lean leadership as a strong discipline to ensure the continuous improvement culture and root cause capabilities.
  • Build relationships and consensus building with business leaders to support identification, review, prioritization, and execution of key improvements opportunities/projects to drive results.
  • Mentor and develop team members, create succession plan, and identify/recruit key talent.

Requirements

  • Must be able to occasionally climb stairs or a ladder to complete tasks.
  • This position will be required to visit the production floor, refrigerated and frozen storage, and warehouses.
  • For all U.S. based roles: Applicants must be authorized to work for a U.S. employer.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Operations Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of supply chain and/or manufacturing experience.
  • Position requires the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods, step, balance, crouch, stoop, kneel, squat, bend, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs., reach above shoulders, or as needed to complete tasks.

Nice to have

  • NetSuite experience a plus.

Skills

  • Expert understanding of supply chain factory planning processes and tools (ERP, MRP, DRP, etc ).
  • Process improvement experience using Lean and/or Six Sigma tools.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.

  • Set annual and quarterly department level KPIs.
