Skills

  • Ability to function independently within the established policy and procedure guidelines and standing orders.
  • Knowledge of EMR system of record keeping for employee medical records.
  • Ability to facilitate processing employees from new hire to annual compliance.
  • Ability to accurately take height, weight, blood pressure, vision, and color screening.
  • Demonstrates the ability to administer medication provided in the Employee Health Department.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of hospital/departmental policies and procedures regarding Employee Health and workers' compensation.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to apply occupational health regulation principles and practices.
  • Strives to keep current regarding Federal and State regulations affecting occupational health and workers' compensation practices.
  • Performing pre-placement physical examinations and drug screens.
  • Administering IM, Sub-Q, and intradermal injections.
  • Performing phlebotomy.
  • Demonstrating ability to use various computer programs.
