About the role

  • Completed technical work is provided to senior management prior to presentation to the client.
  • This position will require occasional travel (2-3 times per year) of up to one week to visit client facilities to gather data along with other Nexus personnel.
  • Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • The Electrical Engineer - Power Systems performs electrical power systems studies and analysis for industrial and utility clients.
  • Utilizing industry standard analysis software (ETAP, SKM, etc.), the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to create study cases, analyze results, and provide detailed written reports.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Working knowledge of ETAP is required.
  • Familiarity with other systems analysis tools such as SKM is desired.
  • 5+ Years of experience in power systems studies
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Products
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
  • A strong fundamental understanding of industrial and utility power systems and calculation methods is required.

Compensation

  • This position will require occasional travel (2-3 times per year) of up to one week to visit client facilities to gather data along with other Nexus personnel.
