- This role will report to Manufacturing Supervisor and based in Newark, DE.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to established specifications and instructions.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas and 5S principles.
Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift
- Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff
- Maintain equipment and performs preventive maintenance when required.
Skills
- High school or equivalency diploma required
- Prior manufacturing experienced preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Basic hand tool experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships
- Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing preferred.
