About the role
- Facilitate communication between development and operations teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
- Provide operational insights to developers and gather feedback on feature feasibility and timelines.
- Healthcare Compliance & Data Sensitivity Ensure all documentation and solutions comply with HIPAA, HEDIS, and other relevant healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation Work with stakeholders (Product, Operations, Compliance, and Engineering) to elicit, document, and prioritize business and system requirements.
- Create clear and concise documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
- Stakeholder Collaboration Act as a bridge between Operations (who manage retrieval logistics, payer/provider interactions) and Development (who build tools, APIs, and platforms).
- Process Improvement & QA Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by creating test cases, coordinating testing activities, and validating feature performance.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders with varying priorities.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with chart retrieval processes, HEDIS reporting, or risk adjustment a plus.

- Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare IT, health plans, or medical records environments.
- Skills Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical data workflows.
