About the role

- As the Transportation Supervisor, you'll assist the Transportation Manager in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- This role is all about teamwork-providing guidance to drivers, solving problems on the fly, and helping uphold our high safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Transportation Manager to supervise and lead our fleet of drivers.
- Maintain compliance with company safety standards and ensure all drivers comply with DOT, FMCSA, and state regulations.
- Maintain a customer service-driven approach while balancing company interests and driver needs.
- Team Support: Work closely with the Transportation Manager to supervise and lead our fleet of drivers.
- Utilize technology and knowledge of delivery areas to optimize routes and improve overall efficiency.
Skills
- Maintain awareness of transportation technologies and systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools that can improve operations, assist with implementation and training efforts for adopted technologies.
Compensation
- $36.68/hr - $39.00/hr, depending on experience
- Potential 90-day performance-based raise
- Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure
- Team Support: Work closely with the Transportation Manager to supervise and lead our fleet of drivers. Provide training, coaching, and guidance to ensure smooth operations and foster continuous improvement within the team.
- Scheduling & Route Optimization: Assist with scheduling, dispatching, and route/backhaul coordination to ensure timely deliveries while maximizing route profitability.
- Utilize technology and knowledge of delivery areas to optimize routes and improve overall efficiency.
