About the role

  • Protective Life is looking for a Business Systems Analyst in its Birmingham, AL corporate headquarters.
  • The position provides an opportunity to work in an agile team environment under the general direction of more experienced Business Analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities, resolve conflicts and be able to work well under pressure

Requirements

  • Generally, relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of assignments requiring a certain degree of independence.
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS or other related computer field will substitute for 3 years of work and/or technical experience
  • Working knowledge of storyboarding, functional specifications, use cases, activity diagrams, workflow diagrams, etc. is required
  • Basic understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design is required.

  • $53k-$74k
