- We are seeking a Technical Estimator to play a critical role in converting customer quote requests into profitable production work.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential execution risks early and propose solutions to support successful project delivery with a proactive, "can-do" mindset.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist working with lathes and mills
- 5+ years of experience preparing estimates for customer-required quotes
- Strong understanding of machining processes and cost structures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with ERP systems
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field, preferred
- Familiarity with CAD software such as MasterCam or SolidWorks preferred
Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $75,000-94,000.

- Prepare accurate and competitive job estimates for customer quotes, factoring in materials, labor, machine time, and production complexity.
- Technical Expertise
- Apply hands-on CNC machining knowledge to understand machining processes, tolerances, and cost drivers across lathes, mills, and multi-axis equipment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, CNC Programmers, Engineering, and Operations to ensure estimates are technically sound and commercially viable.
