About the role

You will ensure the dispensary achieves or exceeds all key metrics and goals across all aspects of the dispensary including customer acquisition and loyalty, merchandising, operations, and talent development.
This role will serve as the link between the Sunnyside* brand vision of providing access to consistent high-quality cannabis and cannabis knowledge and the operations of the store.

The opportunity to build on retail business fundamentals to include effective scheduling, payroll, financial management, identifying sales trends, and business writing & reporting.
Drive profitable sales through forecasting, scheduling, outstanding customer service and execution of programs and initiatives.
Support outreach efforts/community partnerships to build a positive image within the community, drive brand awareness, and draw new patients.

Experience in a dynamic role that combines problem solving, teamwork, technical skills, and customer service!

Conduct at least monthly 1:1 quality conversations with each assistant manager and quarterly 1:1s with each store employee.
Ensure employees are knowledgeable and coached to navigate any regulatory changes.

Skills in conflict resolution, strategic thinking, decision making and complex problem solving.

Experience leading and motivating a team of hourly and salary employees; skills include recruiting, onboarding, training, managing employee relations and coaching.

Establish and nurture key business partner relationships across Human Resources, Outreach, Compliance, Security, Employees Health & Safety, Marketing, Construction and IT.
