Responsibilities
- Job Description Regional Survey Manager/Senior Project Manager Dewberry is currently seeking an experienced Survey Leader to lead, manage, support, and expand Surveying and related Mapping Services within Dewberry's Mid-Atlantic region (lead/manage Virginia, support Maryland, and DC).
- Applicant will lead our regional team through the adaptation of the latest equipment and surveying technology, consistency of survey procedures, QA/QC, and lead the hiring of new staff and internal growth of the team and staff development.

- Coordinates with Survey Department Managers, office staff & field staff with daily workload, schedules and needs in order to support high utilization across the region while providing cross-training opportunities to staff.
- Manages and directs key complex projects - providing leadership and management within the survey departments and on large projects.
Requirements
- Applicant must be responsible, highly motivated, and a detail oriented individual interested in leading our regional Land Surveying team.
- Applicant must be able to work in a fast paced environment, manage key, complex projects, daily coordination with leadership in Virginia, prepare proposals and be successful in business development and leading the surveying staff.
- Required Skills & Required Experience Must have High School Diploma, AAS degree in Land Surveying preferred.
- Active Land Surveying license required for Virginia or ability to obtain; Multi-State licensure is a plus.
- Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of survey experience and project management.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work and interact with clients.
- Must have a diverse survey experience including:
- Must be proficient with GPS/GNS systems and use of RTK/VRS and post processing of survey data (Static - Network Least Squares Reduction).
- Konwledge of/experience with laser scanning is a plus.
Compensation
- These screenings will be conducted by Dewberry's background vendor of choice and will be conducted in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local law. #LI-EB1 Salary Range The projected range for this position is $159,000-$236,
