About the role

  • Schedule: Friday through Monday 2PM to 9PM.

Responsibilities

  • MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION.
  • Work and perform all the functions of the Control Room Panel -Batching operator.
  • Ability be able to operate scales and document incoming ingredients through the ticketing system 7.
  • Ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools 11.
  • Maintain good housekeeping including service areas and grounds keeping.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate a locomotive/trackmobile to move rail cars by following established procedures and/or specifications.
  • Ability to coordinate activities such as switching cars from one track to another, coupling railcars together, and/or clearances.
  • Ability to handle switches and hand brakes in accordance with company programs.
  • Ability to walk the length of the track to monitor track conditions and report any irregularities to management.
  • Ability to accurately record data/Dispatch 6.
  • Ability to operate equipment to unload feed ingredients and route to appropriate storage silo 8.
  • Ability to obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients 9.
  • Ability to lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading of ingredients 10.
  • Ability to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments.
  • Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures 14.
