About the role

  • Act as a true investment professional who can credibly stand in for the portfolio managers with major institutional clients and consultants, retail due-diligence teams, large financial advisor audiences, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Work with PMs to develop/define/refine investment philosophy and style.
  • Develop materials (presentations, white papers) which validate style attributes.
  • Develop materials to help set appropriate client expectations and retain assets when style is out of favor.

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of the investment environment, economic trends, financial markets and competitive trends.

Nice to have

  • MBA and/or CFA Charterholder preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 experience in the investment management business, work experience as an Institutional Portfolio Manager preferred.
  • Experience working with institutional clients, consultants and managing portfolios preferred.

Compensation

  • MFS contributes an amount equal to 15% of your base salary to your retirement account that is separate from the company -sponsored 401(k)
  • This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.

  • This range reflects our good-faith expectation for what we'll pay depending on the candidate's experience, training and education.
