About the role
- The Manager, Transportation will have ultimate responsibility for delivering a high level of service to our vendors every day, ensuring high operational standards and vendor satisfaction within an assigned geographic area.
- This role is key to a successful relationship with our Transportation Providers.
- Candidates must reside in the State of Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all operational aspects of Logistics, within assigned region
- Drive cost containment initiatives through innovative recommendations
- Provide support for organization
Requirements
- Travel within the State is required.
- Regular attendance is required
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- College degree or four years of related work experience
- 2+ years of previous experience in management or in a proven leadership role
- 3+ years of previous experience in transportation, logistics, operations, or fleet management is required (5+ years is preferred)
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Account Manager or relevant related experience
- Experience contracting and negotiations
- Must possess a valid driver's license

Compensation
- This information reflects the base salary pay range for this job based on current national market data.
- We offer competitive pay that varies based on individual skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
- Salary Min: $64,440
- Salary Max: $75,000
