About the role

We are seeking a Master Carpenter with extensive experience in exhibit fabrication and custom casework for an initial 6‑ to 8‑week contract.
Exceptional performance during the contract may open the door to a full‑time role with our team.

Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other craftsmen to ensure design intent and quality standards are met.
Maintain a safe and organized workshop, adhering to all safety protocols.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in exhibit fabrication or custom casework.
Proficiency with woodworking tools, machinery, and fabrication techniques.
Strong understanding of materials, including wood, laminates, acrylics, and metals.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience with CNC machinery and digital fabrication tools.
Familiarity with museum-quality standards and conservation considerations.
Knowledge of finishing techniques, including staining, painting, and laminating.
