About the role

  • As a freelance position, the Media Operations Administrator is responsible for assisting in ensuring that all the show media from production gets organized and prepared for any post production necessities.
  • Post Department - Media Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize media organization systems, ensuring recorded materials are properly ingested, labeled, and stored for editorial use.
  • Support show editors and post-production teams by troubleshooting file management and workflow issues.
  • Assist with technical prep such as syncing multicams, create proxy files of the raw media and/or resize or convert media files. organizing project files, and preparing materials for edit and review.
  • Partner with the Media Ops Team to document and evolve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices of the Show Edit Bible and other supporting show documentation.
  • Maintain accurate metadata, documentation, and version tracking across series projects.
  • Prepare external hard drives with the prepared media for the editors as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience of expertly using Adobe products.
  • Expertise using Resolve and ProTools is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience working Online editing/conforming.
  • Extensive knowledge of Chrome tools.
  • Premiere, Media Encoder, After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Able to be on-call on weekends and after office hours as needed
  • Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, etc.
  • SUPER Extensive and incredible sense of humor.

Nice to have

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing large volumes of digital assets.
  • Knowledgeable in post-production workflows, file systems, and common editing environments.
  • Adaptable and proactive, with a process-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach.

  • In Office [BURBANK,CA] plus Travel Required 9/14-10/2.
  • New Orleans, Atlanta, & Michigan
  • Roundtrip coach airfare, min 2.5-3 star hotel accommodation, $50/day per diem, and 1 checked bag included outside of day rate.
  • Knowledge of assembling reels in Premiere is a plus.

Compensation
